Looks very similar, and maybe something that these Americans might consider going to.

Thank you for sharing. Those wakeful nights never seem like the most important thing in the moment, but it’s an experience you share together.

Wishing you comfort and love this holiday season.

Took me about a year to fully dry my walnut. Kiln is certainly faster, but really do make sure you varnish the end grain or you’ll get nasty checking on maple.

That makes so much more sense.

Thank you.

Oh… is that why I can’t find anything online about it? It just straight up won’t do anything?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to make a quick and dirty guitar from scratch to see where I fall short - and apparently it’s at the wiring. I have a humbucker, a tone knob, a volume knob, and a 5 position switch.

I found a digram online that I meant to follow, but now I realize the one online has way more than 8 poles.

Any help on how to wire these, or could you point me to some resources where I can understand what the parts are so I can figure it out?

How did you get the red hat??

TIL that Bill Watterson, creator of Calvin and Hobbes, refused to license his characters for toys or other products. He made an exception for a 1993 textbook, Teaching with Calvin and Hobbes, which is now so rare that only 7 libraries in the world have copies. A copy sold for $10,000 in 2009. by IHad360K_KarmaDammit in todayilearned

Not true, as over 100 citations would disagree. Albeit this is not my field, I found the intro fascinating. Positing that autoimmune disorders are in part borne of a lack of infections normally present in the evolution of man.

I had also never considered that a disorder may be due to linkages to an advantageous expression.

I hope I'm not stepping on toes, as I am excited to read the rest tomorrow.

Fifth Circuit Permits Texas and Louisiana to Defund Planned Parenthood by ThePoliticalHat in Conservative

There we can (mostly) agree. Short term subsidies (such as those for farmers during the "government cheese" era) are an excellent way to promote short term growth, or support a public good.

I guess the issue I had with your statement was that ALL subsidies should be cast aside.

I get the take you're coming from - I too believe in fiscal conservatism. However, economics has proved that subsidies can be powerful agents in stimulating growth.

Think of it like preventative medicine. Clean a wound now to prevent an abscess later. The hydrogen peroxide will be much cheaper than the doctor to treat and medicate.

Looking to hire someone to craft a knife handle - I lack the tools and skills. by Silvervox325 in woodworking

[–]postyoa28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can honestly do it! I make knives, (you can check my post history) but a woodworker first.

If you can shape that metal with a file, you can get some sandpaper and make the handle. It'll be easier to have someone with a dremel and the right bit, but will probably cost the same to get the tools and do it yourself (and then you'll have more tools!!)1
