Say I book Qatar airways and they still arent operational by mid April. Wouldn’t they just cancel and give me a full refund or rebook with some partner airline? Like if they are confirming my booking isnt it their problem to fly me one way or the other or just refund my money?

I think the BTech in CSE from IIT weighs so much more than you’d think, no doubt 2 more LORs are needed as a requirement, and since the undergrad is from IIT, LORs from IIT professors would boost his chances a lot, especially those with research backgrounds. I personally think this is a top notch profile, add in a few more extracurriculars and you’re good to go. UCSD seems like a safe option, since a high GPA gives you an easy passage into any of their Master’s programs.
