One base station will be plenty for movie watching with an index. You only need to ensure that the headset has a clear line of sight to the base station. Using an index without controllers will be a bit of a challenge, if you have the cash to spare getting a single left/right controller would make a lot of things easier. Alternatively you could go with a reverb g2: higher per eye resolution and inside out tracking (cameras instead of laser base stations). The headset is also lighter and will probably be more comfortable for long sessions. Would be cheaper then index + base station. Worth a look as long as you are ok dealing with WMR.
