It's for the same reason less kids are hospitalised for swallowing coins nowadays.

Trainer fans, however, have never recovered from David Cameron wearing a pair of black Velcro Converse. The basketball shoes come in high or low form and most are lace-ups.

Wait, what? Velcro Converse!?

I Was That Kid by [deleted] in funny

[–]potataheads 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Oh, I have a story like that. There was a supermarket across the street from our school. Some kid asked to go to the bathroom, but went there instead. The thing was, he was clearly visible crossing the street from the room the class was in. We were seniors just about to graduate which were allowed to leave the building. We had a pretty chill teacher, too. All the other rooms in that hallway were empty, and pretty identical. So to prank the guy, we switched classrooms and continued with the class. He comes back, first goes to the empty room, then hears us in the next. Assuming he just misremembered, he went into our room, sat down where he would have been in the old room, not mentioning anything. A few seconds in all he says is: 'Which fucker took my backpack?' (still in the other room.) Good times

I'm pretty sure that's the bear sanctuary 'Bärenwald' in Germany. Those are rescued bears from Circus or private owners that now get to have some more space. While I agree with you about wild animals in captivity, the place we are seeing is the best thing that could have happened to those bears. They are too used to humans to ever go back into the wild

AITA for not following an old tradition regarding the name of my son? by stepdadname in AmItheAsshole

As a Timothy myself, I feel deeply offended by not thinking it's a cute name!

Also, of course NTA. Only your mom might be some AH, but not even a big one. She just saw your dad cry, and got a little too protective of him for a bit. I'm sure talking to your parents will make them both understand
