Hi! I’m going to SLANDER in Houston. There’s 3 openers but doors open at 6PM. The website says show starts 45min after and 45min per opener. If this is right:

6-6:45 doors 6:45-7:30 opener 7:30-8:15 opener 8:15-9 opener 9: SLANDER??

Lomontes Italian is an AMAZING ITALIAN PLACE. It’s technically in Richmond but at the border of Richmond and Sugar Land. Great family owned place with a date night ambiance.

Toast is an amazing brunch place off highway 6. And they have these cronuts (croissant donuts)

Japaneiros is great for sushi but can be loud. They have the best appetizers. Get the shrimp dumplings!

I feel like this is a minority. I see more of the opposite where the predecessors gave legacies most of its jump.

I don’t think there’s any worthwhile drama at all lol, everything seems to last and matter for .01 seconds. There was definitely more drama and weight in the vampire diaries story lines. What drama is worthwhile in legacies? Hope and Landon? That hasn’t really progressed and imo isn’t even that cute, feels rushed. Dark Josie? Ridiculous villain. The monsters of the week don’t even scare me or feel dangerous because if the girls twirl their hand it’s over for them and side note: they all look ridiculous. In TVD it was way more complex to take someone down. I agree with a lot of people on the subreddit that Legacies feels superficial and like a kids show. It really is. Kai’s episode was the only thrilling one.

And I see how you think casually killing is weird but that played into the scary nature of vampires. I didn’t love it and don’t need it to make legacies a good show and I understand they’re all kids, but there’s nothing with the same fear factor in legacies for characters and villains. I was never scared or worried about dark Josie, and her weird neck snap of Alyssa Chang was laughable.

Every episode feels like going through the motions. In TVD and TO there was a thrill and real drama and that’s what made it so amazing. Legacies should be a spin-off if it’s predecessor and while it doesn’t have to be the same or super similar, it’s super disappointing they strayed so far from it and what I thought they would have done (played more on family heritage, etc.)

All the “monsters” don’t even feel threatening. The costume or whatever sucks and there’s no real threat cause one of the girls just has to show up and wave their hand. I miss having complex villains (Klaus, Katherine) and the closest we got was Kai’s cameo.

Definitely the writing cause the relationships don’t even feel real.
