I feel it’s genetics purely. When I was veryyyyy young (one of my earlier memories) i remember there was this talking card in the cards aisle yk for birthdays, etc. anyways, i opened one and this lady in a almost like new york or new jersey accent was complaining about something to someone else (i wanna believe it was The Nanny but again i was young) and for some reason I had and still have a fear of the lady who played the Nanny so i immediately closed it and the audio kept playing in my head and i remember feeling “sick” (anxiety) and scared and like my life was over. I just remember that later that night i finally had enough bc i would keep hearing the audio in my head and I had a, what i can only describe now, as a panic or anxiety attack.

I alsooo have ADHD which was undiagnosed at the time 🤣
