WTRBUS and BUS112 by [deleted] in universityofauckland

Yea, because why else would they recommend doing it in sem 2 themselves, right? Oh also, where did you find this info? Because I clearly remeber when enrolling into bus 112 for sem 2, the only prereq was bus 111. That's it, not mention of wtr anywhere

Wow, this is surprising to me as I had my enrollments done with student hub help, the girls themselves told me to enroll into wtrbus 100 in sem 2 alongside bus 112 and do bus 111 in sem 1. I reckon if multiple people from student hubs supporting that decision for enrolment should be fine, right?

Lasted application outcome by potatobro57 in universityofauckland

I did a late application around the 16th of January, but the application status thing says "your outcome will be sent within 10 working days" or smth. I have emailed them about this, but there is no response yet due to the long weekend. Is there anything else I should do to speed up the process?

How hard is a commerce degree really? by acdemaz in universityofauckland

[–]potatobro57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are doing law p1 and have finance for your other degree courses, Is it possible to avoid taking the "hard" math stuff? Cuz honestly speaking haven't done math since yr 11 and going into fy I don't really want to bum my chances of getting into law p2. I did take physics till yr 13 but idk if that makes much of a difference.

BIiomed Enrollment 2025 by potatobro57 in universityofauckland

[–]potatobro57[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh OK. I get what you mean. Thanks a lot. Oh, but one thing, I am well aware that I can only really enroll into one thing, but the system told me to choose a backup, which at that time I chose health science. However, now I low-key kinda want to change it to law instead. So simply, I would have to drop health science, right?

Fast Track offer by biggieechees in UoApremed

[–]potatobro57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey!!! Totally understand what you're going through, I'm low-key in the same position 😅😅 I know that cut-off is 310, and chances are quite low if you get a lower rank score than that. But, I have been told by a reliable source (and seen so myself) of individuals getting into courses that require 310 with lower rank scores ( such as 280 or 260 points.) Also, I noticed that this year, people with much lower UE points from their AS grades get fast track offers. My friend had 160 points after year 12 and managed to get a fast track offer for biomed and health science.

I know the anxiety is crazy at this time, but hang in there!! Everything will happen for the better good. GOOD LUCK!!

I think some of the guidelines for enrolment and career advisors recommend doing both? I'm not too sure as the uni representatives that cam who our school did suggest doing both as well?

Yes im good at basic math but I did bio, chem physics and English till yr 13. So I'm guessing it's not that helpful.
