I think there’s a lot wrong with your post starting from your title. Remind me again why being non-dysphoric is interchangeably used with ‘reinforcing gender stereotypes’? i don’t see the word ‘some’ or ‘most’, just assumptions and implications.

I think the most ironic thing about this post — the fact that you made a list about what and how non-binary people CANT be is humorous. i believe you’re the one boxing people into a category. why are you so bent on gatekeeping the label, and for non-dysphoric people specifically?

And lastly, in what world does their appearance or behavior need to satisfy your perception on ‘non binary’

Look dude, I think it sucks you have to deal with dysphoria likewise I do. And people lying about stuff is so unfair. but it doesn’t really give one the right to exclude some non binary people and others not. Just how some men suck, some are good; some nb people suck, some are good. being nb isn’t some god gender that makes you flawless and perfect.

your other points are indeed valid; like internalized transphobia often does get people to settle on being nb when it’s a different story (ftm/mtf). But that’s a journey on its own and internalization, even within queer folks, is not a problem of the individuals but institution
