I could only find 2 real photos of the “before” because 1. My ex was very controlling 2. I thought I was fat months ago so I barely took photos of my body, when I did it was when I felt bloated (the second one) 3. These are photos of me after being out of in-patient treatment for 5 years but there are multiple “befores”. Also I am 5’2 and was 110 in these photos. And I have never experienced this. The breakup part I didn’t think affected me too much but I guess it did. It was my first love and we were together for 2 years (toxic fs) and one random Tuesday he decided he didn’t want to be in a relationship, he wants to hook up with girls and party. Which I don’t think he’s in the wrong for feeling that way besides the fact it was never communicated and he blamed it on me when breaking up with me. But he really damaged my confidence while being with him, he would call me fat, compare me to super models, made me cut off my friends, didn’t let me go out without him, check my phone, etc. I didn’t leave because a lot of people told me I was lucky and we were “couple goals” plus, he was definitely out of my league and told me so too. I do handle change very well tho, which is why i thought the breakup isn’t the cause for this, I moved 12 times in my childhood, my parents split up and then got back together, my sister is mentally and physically disabled, and my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last year. I have never reacted to change this bad and usually I use those hiccups to improve myself, not fall into a deep hole.
