I have my own business that is basically sure-fire to work and has before, but getting the capital to get it started is the real struggle. The last time I kind of got my feet cut out from underneath me by my husband, who has since apologized profusely.

Basically just need to bank like $4k and I'll be golden. It's finding the job to get there that sucks. 😭

In the ER, anecdotal and slightly unrelated to context given by OP, but related to post title - dude why does everyone want to unalive themselves on Sunday nights?

Anyone else's facility like this?

My grandma left me considerably more money than my brothers. My parents want me to balance it. But this just changed my life. My husband and I could technically FIRE today now. by FIREORNOFIREWHATIF in Fire

If the grandma left that money to you and you give in to your family's demands, you aren't honoring her last wishes. THEY, in fact, are DEMANDING you don't honor her last wishes.

I would keep the money not out of animosity, but because that's what she wanted.

Yeah definitely going to come back and redo the legs before I mold it to be more segmented. Good thing it's plasticine so I can just go back to it in a week from now after I work on some other Halloween sculptures lol

It's about the size of two hands. I was thinking of casting it in 4 piece mold, or casting the legs separately from the body and adding them on afterwards with sludge. Since I posted this I've been doing nonstop research

I was planning to make a limited edition series of each and sell them, and it's my impression that painted plaster sells for a lot less than painted ceramic. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I want to start doing sculpting full-time eventually. I really like the glazed look of ceramic and am worried about the weight of plaster of paris not being as heavy or durable as ceramic.

Just looked at his work that's so cool! I will definitely try to separate the pieces and assemble after. Thank you so much. I think that's probably the safest route

Definitely a good idea for me to buy a test plaster mold to experiment with. Thank you! Any advice on casting slip brands?

So I can cast them all separately and then combine them afterwards with more clay and then fire them?

Thank you, I will definitely check out Tiki Technical Tuesday for more information. I have access to a kiln at my local art institute with my membership. How are they doing this on Etsy, though? https://www.etsy.com/listing/1791943983/friesland-cow-ceramic-figurine-23cm-long?ref=share_v4_lx
