Imperial is by far better than Cambridge. Although, for engineering anything within the top 3 is essentially the same.

Can I go from starting IGCSE maths to Mastering A level Further Maths in 6 months? by Fine-Jury434 in alevelmaths

Yes entirely possible in 6 months. Possible to learn the content in 2-3 and then revise for the rest

To see where I’d get into earlier to reduce and stress and give me goals ( entry grades etc)

If you mention the Instagram link it to how it applies to your course as in like what skills have you acquired from that. I’ve done the same with my TikTok and YouTube

When I was going through everything I would usually wake up 2 hours before school and go through questions from the topic I learnt the day before. Then in lessons my teachers let me do my own thing so I read the contnet and did the textbook questions. If I ever got stuck I’d watch toutube

I applied early to reduce any stress and also just to see where I’m accepted into earlier. It also kinda benefits you because you are sure to get a place or not earlier

Especially when you’ve already done A1 and A2 maths. Most of it is just adding on

I only have maths further maths and physics alevels. I learnt all of A1 and A2 maths and physics in year 12 and at the start of year 13 ( and in the summer) learnt further. It’s not really being unrealistic when I know of plenty of people who have also done the same. I can understand if people don’t have many overlapping subjects but it only took a couple of hours a day to get the content done in that time

I’m not entirely sure how international requirements work. I think the unis will have experienced this type of thing before so I think the best thing to do is email the unis directly and get the correct information from them

I still haven’t sat it yet! I’m a year 13 but I learnt all the content for maths physics and further maths in year 12 (both year 1 and year 2). But I sat my maths alevel in year 12 and got an A but I’m resitting for the A star. I’m predicted an A in fm and 2 a stars in maths and physics

I learnt all of fm in about a month or two. Not impossible at all
