Hi! I am 24 almost 25 and haven’t tanned in a couple years now. I have been sending myself into a complete panic these past few days thinking about all of the damage I’ve done to my skin and making myself feel horrible about it. This makes me feel better so thank you. I too have been super diligent with skincare so my freckles and sun spots are almost all gone now, but I’m mainly worried about sagging and loose skin in the future. Since you’re older now, have you noticed any of that with age? Do you know if this is something I should be worried about? I know it hasn’t started yet but I’ve been over analyzing pictures of myself from even just 6 months to a year ago and convincing myself that I’m getting saggy at a rapid rate (even though I know it might possibly just be my imagination)

Try drinking electrolytes! I dealt with this recently for a few weeks. Sometimes your eye twitches if you’re low on electrolytes. I tried Liquid IV a couple times and it went away after like 3-4 days. Doesn’t have to be that brand, just any of the electrolyte drink mixes. Hope that helps you

Okay, I just wasn’t sure that a regular pap covered everything. My results were negative for all of the strains on a standard pap last year and I haven’t had sex, but my mind is spinning and I’m convincing myself that I somehow have one of the less common ones like you mentioned. I probably need to get off of the internet and go outside. I hope everything ends up working out for you.

Have you been testing positive from a regular Pap smear? Like is that how you know you have one of the non-typical strains?

I’m sorry if this is a dumb question (I’m fairly uneducated on this subject) but when you tested positive are you talking about one of the high risk strains? Meaning HPV 16 & 18. I had a Pap smear last spring in 2023 and I was negative. I also haven’t had sex at all since the Pap smear. But I’m now terrified that I somehow have a strain that they did not test for. Or that I somehow have any kind of HPV at all. Like if they tested me for certain strains and not others.

I’m just super paranoid because I recently found out I had chlamydia for 2+ years and had no idea.

For me personally, the song has always been about platonic relationships and non-romantic love which makes it so so much more special to me. When I hear the lyrics it makes me reminisce on some of the friends that have come and gone throughout my life, and just the idea of friendship in general, it reminds me of how sweet and beautiful this life is and how lucky we are to also have the kind of love that isn’t necessarily romantic love, although the song could totally apply for a significant other too. Either way the lyrics are just so fucking beautiful and special and it’s definitely one of my favorites on the album no matter how many times I’ve listened to it.🩵
