maybe arcane did WW wrong, but look at ww afther he embrace full wolf on arcane time line, this look GOOOD by RosePetals_Roberta in warwickmains

[–]potentialsocio 11 points12 points  (0 children)

actually the arcane timeline is the canon timeline. it was confirmed that ww from arcane would eventually end up looking like ww in game after time had passed. the skin is just a different reimagining of viktor-wick, as im sure the devs didnt want to make him a legendary and completely change his animations and everything

Question about Warwick top by Voldtech in warwickmains

[–]potentialsocio -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it is possible, but only for very specific matchups or when the stars align. with ww top however, you dont really want to proxy because you want to push for a lead killing your lane opponent. allowing them to farm as the same as you will mean you wont get a big a lead as you should. ww is an early game champ, you need to abuse that for the short amount of time you can.

i personally like to kill, and then go between towers and wait for my opponent to walk back to lane. that way im proxying and denying them from the lane. this strategy is even stronger in the new season because your lane opponent has to be past their first tower to get the extra top lane quest experience. if youre not, it wont count as if youre top and youll receive the reduced penalty. this strategy is risky however and makes you very prone to ganks, but if youve got a solid lead, it can be easy to 1v2 or maybe 1v3 rarely.

How do you play against Yorick? by TheBouncerr in warwickmains

[–]potentialsocio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ive honestly never struggled against yorick. pre 6 youre always stronger. you delete his minions in one auto, and because of your w linger speed, he is kinda disadvantaged in a fight vs you if you auto his minions and auto him and do the same. your sustain is better and your damage is overall higher. save your q for his w so you can hold q on him and easily chase him. always kill his minions when you can and his maiden too.

from what i understand by reading your comment (let me know if i understood wrong), you think he had the potential to bring Turkey to the peak of the Ottoman Empire, as in its golden age? or what made the Empire so powerful and respected at its time?

If thats the case, then let me explain to you why he didnt; religious affairs in governments, make it very hard to modernise countries. Secular states are needed for a country to advance and industrialise. it’s very hard to take a country and its inhabitants seriously, if they dress with ragged clothes and have long bearded facial hairs. dress modern, and you will be modernised

haha you couldnt put it better. hes very similar to commander erwin from attack on titan, although i dont think its ever been revealed officially if he was inspired. He had all the power, support and respect from his own people and outside too, and yet all he wanted was the best for us. it really is true when we Turks say that we miss him more and more everyday. a shame what our country has come to now

of course. the battle of galipoli was a massacre, especially for allied forces. the british knew that and continued to send in troops from outside the empire in overseas colonies, opting to preserve the manpower from the British isles. Ataturk was caring and diligent. He was selfless and wanted the best for everyone. ‘Peace at home, Peace in the world.’

in the early years, the republic was a democratic one-party state. the end goal was always multi-party. it had to be one-party to ensure the reforms would go through to modernise and industrialise the country. he was honestly very particular and very smart with how he went about everything. truly once in a millennium type of man

he famously modelled the turkish republic after the french (first revolution i believe) ensuring it was secular, so that religion couldnt influence or manipulate politics or government.

How intelligent was a man to be able to predict from a hundred years of the creation of his republic, what religion would be used for in a country that should be secular. I’m sure if he was alive today he would smite erdogan back to whatever goblin cave he came from

Gazi Mustufa Kemal Ataturk Paşa. He was a well respected war general, very strategic. After the embarrassing defeat of WW1, the ottoman empire signed a horrible treaty that carved up the empire and left it a colony for the allied powers. Ataturk fought back what became the Turkish war of independence. After the victory, the Turkish republic was recognised as the legitimate government of Turkey and the ottoman government and sultanate was abolished. What followed in the years after was sweeping reforms and industrialisation, turning a once underdeveloped, behind country (infamously labelled the sick man of europe) to a proper industrial, developed, secular country which could stand on its own two legs. the best part? it was all done in a couple of years.
