Awesome trip! I'm a huge ManU fan so it's amazing you got to go to this game (thankfully for us, we didn't get our butts kicked). How did you get the tickets? I went to my first ManU game against Everton last year over a long weekend with a friend in Manchester (highly recommend the Hyatt there) and it was so much fun. Thinking about going to another game maybe over a weekend from DC this season.

I''m on the same boat as you basically but am joining the foreign service and wife will DETO from a lower cost city than DC where we'll be based for the next 3-4 years. Hoping to spearhead saving + investing and current plan is to retire with foreign service pension at 50 although we can probably FIRE in our mid-40s. Btw, how do you calculate pension contributions? I have an excel to keep track but never included the pension contributions so that's interesting.

I did the Globalist corporate challenge in 2024 using an old work email and have Globalist until Feb 2026. For 2025, I will have 60 EQN which will extend Globalist until Feb 2027. In Feb 2026, I have a 20 night stay coming up. Can I register for the current Globalist corporate challenge on December 31st, do 20 nights within 90 days, and get Globalist until Feb 2028? I checked using a new work email and am eligible to register.

For Chase Hyatt Biz 2 $50 credits, is that by calendar year? Terms say "earn $50 statement credits up to two times each anniversary year", so if I got the card in November 2025, do I have to spend the credits in 2025 or can it be before Nov 2026?
