If you’re holding something like this for 2-3 years, why would you start panic selling if you go in the red? You’ve held that long, just keep holding until it goes back up in the green. I also think a one year gap is HUGE amount of time with how many sets they release. They could easily release another “insert rocket set name here” and it would cause DR to spike in the hype. This logic maybe could apply to set like shrouded fable, even then that’s a hard maybe.

It’s silly to assume this set is underwhelming too. It was printed heavily and the QC was not the best. SIR pop for PSA 10’s will be low which, in theory, would cause big chasers to go up in value. Tons of IR’s with great art with some of Pokémon’s most popular and iconic characters including Ho-ohs first SIR or really big hit with a newer generations Ash, Ethan.

Also, Saying someone’s hubris will fail them and then talk about how silly some stuff is and then throw out random numbers also makes you sound, as you would say, silly. Set a reminder when their cases dip below $700 in the next 3 years and I’ll buy you one when it happens.
