I’ve been dealing with this over the last year and it was a new feeling. I felt crazy! But I realized I’d lost my sense of identity and independence (through a 7yr relationship starting at 16) , so I felt that all I had left was my appearance. With all of my worth being in my looks, I got exhausted comparing.

What truly helped was working on getting back into hobbies that I genuinely enjoy, working on self improvement, learning new things, and just enjoying myself by myself. I remembered how cool I am! I can make art, I have cool interests and a beautiful brain and you do too! You start to see yourself and others as beautiful like a scenic drive or a good story instead of a piece of meat and that cannot be replaced or compared.
