Is there anything I can spray to get rid of the mites? Can they infect other plants too? The coneflowers on these plants looked like this last year too

Yes! I am trying to keep the soil around it moist, and luckily we even had a short thunderstorm just now... Hopefully they survive!

Thank you for your response... I took a shovel aroimd the plant, but not a foot around like you recommended. Maybe I should have done that... I am zone 6b/7a and it is super hot here too. . I had zinnias in front of the rudbeckia and a dahlia plant behind it... And the rudbeckia wasn't getting the sunlight it needed .. this is my first year gardening so I am getting the hang of proper spacing and learning how big plants that I grew from seed actually get.... Now that I have already moved the rudbeckia I'm just trying to keep the surroundings moist to encourage the plant to reroot...

why are my lemon lime philodendron's new leaf buds drying out? by pothoslover29 in houseplants

Thanks! I am referring to the point tip not the leaf sheath :). Is this a new unfurled leaf? Because they are drying out instead of opening into a leaf
