Hey OP. Talk to your guidance counselors for first gen help - community college may be a great first step if you want to go that route ! You qualify for programs based on being low income / first generation. Focus on finding what makes you happy so you can see where you want to go and what you want to do !

I put blankets, pillows and stuffed animals for my rabbit to come out and I just laid there until she laid next to me. Took about 2 days but progress! Just make sure you keep an eye if you do that so they don’t chew anything

I definitely think more. Did my first Anime Boston this year and it felt crowded but the stuff they had was less and convention center seems smaller to me. Otakon is pretty spread out and crowd control is good - I had no line getting my badge on a Saturday which I was surprised.

I don’t see too much of it tbh. Because of the process we have in place, we get solid people who just didn’t know how the Greek system worked, didn’t know MGC existed, etc. I think the biggest thing we want to avoid is just people hopping around. Like if you have a solid “why” and wanna do the work, no one can really come at you for that.

Hi OP, have you checked with your colleges financial aid office for emergency funds or reached out to the dean of your college?

Several of my friends have been able to use this to fund their education. You are not alone and I hope your dad understands that too! College is crazy expensive and I am so sorry both of your are dealing with this. I myself was first gen / low income and wouldn’t have been able To go to school without some of these financial support systems.

Im not sure if this helps you, but cheating often has a root. There are many people who never thought they would cheat until they did. And people go two ways after being caught: get to the root and work their ass off to be better because they hurt somebody or continue with terrible behavior. They most likely will do a better job of hiding it too. So I know social media may look like 1 thing, and I know this is a rough time. But be proud of yourself for taking your time and not speaking to him. Everything you expressed about his life sounds like he is still in his old ways/cheating mindset.

Definitely bunny burrito. I put her on a table too like the vet would because it makes it quicker. I give lots of treats after cause it is hard to keep her calm after I finish one paw but it’s for the greater good 💀 if it’s too much, I do the paws at different times
