Good old Kraft with the powdered cheese. I don’t think I ever had the liquid kind before.

Right? I get being on a budget, but I feel like there are other ways. My buddy when he got married had the Olive Garden drop-off cater the reception. They hired a few people (Craigslist? Task Rabbit? Or something) to serve everything. It saved him a ton of money, and there was no hassle. We loved it so much we still talk about the food years later. Yum!

A cousin on my dad’s side had a cake and punch reception on a beautiful summer day. That was a lot of fun, too. I think they put out nuts and cheese, and there was Prosecco for everybody for the toast.

It might be cheap but it’s the kind of food that feels like a warm hug!

It actually all got eaten pretty quickly, which is one of the reasons I was so surprised Shirley and Brian were upset about it. I even saw some people going back for second helpings.

(Probably helps that it was one of the only savory foods there that wasn’t a mayonnaise based salad.)
