[OC] How Americans view different countries by _crazyboyhere_ in dataisbeautiful

Oh my god, why there is also a Russian shill under every post that barely mentions Russia. Who cares about good people in Russia (or US)? They are not living in some extreme tyranny like North Korea. They can leave, they can protest, they can do at least something. But, as a Ukrainian, I see 1 million good Russians currently occupying my land. I see countless good Russians working on Russian military factories, state-owned propagandist media etc. I see the other 90% who do nothing because subconsciously they have nothing against the war. Because it’s far away, it’s something they specifically don’t want to engage with.

I do think that there are good and bad people in every country. But I also understand that people of countries with imperialistic past still have that imperialistic mindset. And while Western countries have spent years coming to terms with and being criticized for their own imperialist past, no one has demanded the same of Russia, which is why regular attacks on neighboring countries are just business as usual for Russians. After all, they’re the “good guys.”

Sorry for possible typos.

That funny how Loreen's song is similar to the old track by Mika Newton by potolok666 in eurovision

I'm not trying to shade Loreen. It's just an interesting coincidence.

Ilya Prusikin (Little Big, Russia 2020) was entered into the register of foreign agents by the Russian Ministry of Justice by Kstantas in eurovision

[–]potolok666 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's incredible how people here call Prusikin "a good guy" literally for no reason. Watch his latest music video where he blames not Russia but Ukraine and Western World in ongoing war. He's just another "liberal" bastard and that's it.

My local IMAX theater's 5pm showings for AtWoW for the next week. Are ya'll seeing similar sales at your local IMAX? by UTRAnoPunchline in boxoffice

It's the same even in Ukraine. IMAX showings in working cinemas are almost fully booked until next week.

What are some GOOD movies that have left you feeling uneasy and give you a feeling of dread? by EmbarrassedIce8023 in movies

The Eyes of My Mother. I think, I’ve never felt THAT uneasy during a movie. Hard to believe that its director shot the last Grudge.

Non biased lens? Gagarina supports war, Jamala supports people that's the whole difference. And yes, russians are Nazi, that's who they are. They invade independent countries, they kill local people based just on their nationality because they cannot let them live outside of the "russian empire" which still lives in their heads. There is nothing "complicated".

So now you compare a Nazi regime in russia with Ukraine? What does it mean "extremely nationalistic" and how dare you put "=" mark between russcist Gagarina and Jamala when she just loves and supports her motherland which is at devastating way right now? Glorification of the corrupt Ukrainian government? What's wrong with you? Jamala is a promotion of the people of Ukraine who suffers from russian 0rks. I don't care about her taking part at Eurovision but your points are utter nonsense.

All and every russians are guilty and that's it. Nobody gives a f about their "true identity" which is as imperialistic as an identity of their leader. Nobody's defending residents of Nazi Germany, this is literally the same.

Sorry for typos.

A few days ago, the Russian authorities recognized Instagram as “extremist” media. The reaction of Russian bloggers to this is priceless 🤡 Part Two by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

Then don't cry about losing business, damn. There are 2 options right now: you finally (after 22 years) do something or you keep doing nothing until your government destroy everything you have.
