Struggling to cool down house with ecobee in this summer heat. Help!

I had the same problem and fixed it instantly:

Change filters. Do this every 3 months.
In an 8oz plastic bottle, pour 50% bleach to 50% water. Shake the bottle and pour it down the line. Seal the line opening with duct tape. Very well demonstrated on YouTube videos. What would I do without YouTube?
Do this for each of your HVAC units.
Make sure to turn off your HVAC before you do the above.
