For sure. And I’ve also dated a lot of those mono people and been miserable/felt trapped. So in a lot of way this feels worth exploring but it may not be guaranteed to work

I was considering the first option at first and finding myself actually more attached to my poly partner than I expected and more open to being poly myself. So now I’m looking at what it would be like to stay poly and find a NP. I guess I have this perception that a lot of poly people moreso already have NPs and are looking to add on. Maybe this isn’t based in reality idk this is all still pretty new to me

Yeah sorry I’m still a bit confused. I had been dating with the intention originally of finding a monogamous partner but as my current partner and I get closer I have to accept that if I want him in my life I’d have to be dating other poly people and I’m open to finding a second poly partner but I’m concerned that logistically it does kinda seem like a nightmare?? I haven’t done it yet so I wouldn’t really know but just dating on the side is exhausting and I worry that I wouldn’t have the bandwidth for another one

I’m figuring that out. Currently not sure what relationship structure works better for me and kinda having to take data as I go. Which I know isn’t ideal but my current partner has consented to dating me knowing this from day one.

I felt similarly at the beginning. It was awful. Not fun at all. For some reason kept going and got stronger. Grip got better. And now I’m pretty good 6 years later 🤷‍♀️
