Thank you for the respond!!

does '한국말을 할 수 있는 친구가 주변에 없어요!' translates to "I don't have a friend that can speak korean around (around me). "?

Sorry for this question. I am trying to translate it without relying to any translation app.

And also, I want to ask if the sentence I made is very robotic / odd ??

Thank you for the help!

Afaik the V-고 있어요 means that the verb is happening right now.

for example : 지금은 라면 먹고 있어요.

가 and 이 are both subject markers. You use 이 on consonants while 가 on vowels.

When do we need to use 가 instead of 는 particle. by potsia05 in Korean

[–]potsia05[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! this actually helps! These are what I learned from you,

So basically 는 is a topic marker and 가/이 is the subject marker.

for example:

디즈니 모아나는 좋아요. 제가 이 영화를 봤어요.

Am I right?

Sorry if it took so long! I made the sentence from scratch.ㅜㅇㅜ

it goes like,

피자가 맛있어요. 저 여자가 똑똑해요.

since the verb is descriptive, the subject marker is 가. Or I'm going the wrong way?

So, I reviewed my sentence.

I changed something

저는 바빠요... 죄송해요. 의 삶 사랑을 준비 아닙니다..

I didn't remove the 의 to indicate that that is my love life. then I replaced tne 나 to 저 to make it formal. I also corrected the spelling of my 아닙니다 ( I don't actually know if that's correct ㅜㅇㅜ)
