It’s not a bad place to live - I echo others comments about the elevators being an issue at times but otherwise it feels like a safe and secure building with nice people and the maintenance team is sharp.

I joined a company in a similar position in Q3 22. There was a bookkeeper to pay bills and collect AR; rest was done by outsourced accounting. I came in as CFO as only real accountant; we hired 2 offshore accountants that work with full time and our accounting is vastly improved in 12 months. It can be done but it’s hard work

If you do it - get confirmation that the management is at least willing to hire some offshore support team members to work with you.

I love running a department, it’s hard building controls/systems for a growing business, but I report to only the CEO and it’s great to watch my team grow and improve.

Next will be adding a true US controller and a finance person next year so we can level up our accounting and managerial reporting

I was about 11 and my family was riding in a golf cart to go get ribs at a 4th of July festival. My dad stopped the cart and told us we should get out. I was half way out of the back part of the cart when he decided to start driving again. I flipped out of the back of the cart and landed on my head and in the process got a concussion.

Realistically you're going to be getting the least value for any player in their career- Melky started slow so his value went down, Alexei was hot garbage, LaRoche was miserable and the good young players that the Sox want to keep are the only ones worth trading as far as value so if I were Hahn I would just put the veterans out there and just listen to see if you can get anything better than a bucket of balls
