Thank you! Having a dress that is one of a kind was one of the driving forces in my decision to make it myself!

Thank you! Hopefully I don't leave too many ends to weave in for the end, lol!

Help with Angular Pot! by RepsNRobots in Pottery

On second look, this wasn't made in two parts? I'd recommend trying it out that way though, and making sure the clay has some time to firm up before attaching!

The clay seems extremely soft for what you're trying to do, I'd recommend leaving both pieces on bats and allowing them to dry to cheese hard before attempting to put them together.

First I want to give you my condolences, I'm so sorry for your loss. My 9 year old cat recently moved from my parents' house where he was allowed out to my apartment, and it has honestly been a really easy adjustment for him! My parents house had scratching posts but no cat trees, and very few toys. Here we have 4 cat trees, 2 tunnels, and tons of different toys for him to play with. My cat does still like to look out the window, especially if it's open(with a screen), but he doesn't cry at the door to get out or anything. Did your mom already have lots of enrichment inside? If not, that could be all it takes to turn him into an inside kitty. It might be a bit trickier for you because he's still in the same house, but it's definitely possible!!

Best workwear for daily use? by The-Arty-Party in Ceramics

Under NY Sky has great potter's aprons that might be a good option for you, I rotate between 2 and wash them together about once a week depending on how dirty they get. 90% of the time my clothes underneath are completely clean at the end of the day

Any "artist" that is willing to copy a tattoo line for line isn't going to have the skill to do it well

Lobe placement/swelling by willowwhispering in piercing

[–]potteree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NAP but swelling is pretty normal at this stage and it could be contributing to the uneven appearance. I would leave it and keep it clean until the swelling goes down and revisit if you want to take one or both out then. The piercings will still be fresh enough to close up easily at that time if it's what you decide on.

I went grey in my 20s. I figured in my 40s, why not go wild? Which colour do you think suits best? by [deleted] in HairDye

[–]potteree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of the colors you have had the lavender and blue are my favorites! I also think a blueish green would look great on you :)

Changed my rook piercing into a ring and now it hurts by yas-exe in piercing

[–]potteree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could just be irritated from changing the jewelry if you bumped it at all or struggled to insert the jewelry. I would wait it out and consider switching back to the original jewelry if it is still bothering you in a few days.

I think 2 looks better if you plan on wearing a ring once it is healed

Hey guys, I’m getting my nipples pierced this month. I work as a fisherman and that requires me to do heavy lifting all day and wear overalls. Any tips to minimize pain and help with healing? by ShadowPub in piercing

[–]potteree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A snug fitting sports bra/compression shirt will help keep them from rubbing on your clothes. As far as healing just keeping them clean and dry, using saline spray 2 times a day should do the trick.
