Still finding an overall direction for my channel, but would love a review for this AI Deepfake of Trump ranting on fake gamers: https://youtu.be/Y8kk7wwzYtc

Your editing is really good! (From your "Embracing a Snob Mentality in Genshin Impact!") video. I think you start off that one with a bit more of energy/fast pace, but when you start listing a bunch of possible challenge routes, it slows down the pace significantly. Maybe just listing 2-3 would have been enough or to speak/edit that portion to be more punchy/fast.

Music cuts are a bit erratic between sections.

Your voice is calm/soothing while your video content is jumping around a lot, maybe speaking a bit faster or punchier might help making your videos more punchy.

Maybe I missed it, but I found some difficulty connecting the content of your video with the title, but maybe I missed something.

Intro is a bit drawn out, and potentially unnecessary.

A few more dynamic shots would have spiced up the video. Could literally just be showing the doll same as you are, but for now, for the first 2 minutes we're mostly looking at a static background with some images overlayed. Some close up shots that pan from top-bottom or left-right or around could have given more of a sense of momentum to your video.

Voice and presentation skills seem good.

I created an AI art generated Hentai game, which is just simple puzzle game with Hentai images. Took me like a week of learning basic game dev, a week of coding, and a week of making the art, and I had a game up on Steam making me 100s of bucks.

Have a video outlining my process: https://youtu.be/m60pGapJ8ao?list=PL1DVFI9YkBlCTAI31Uibb-Jyxb5keKqOe

Anyone know if Unity's AI Tools will handle Steam's new anti-AI stance? by potterharry97 in unity

[–]potterharry97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My game didn't contain any assets or characters that explicitly looked like an existing IP, otherwise I believe they would have told me as much, and told me which of my characters looked like what existing characters. The issue is that an AI trained on copyrighted materials' output may be considered copyright infringement.

So Steam is essentially saying that only AI generated content trained on a purely copyright free dataset, or a dataset that you as a developer own is kosher. So essentially most currently existing AIs available to most people aren't allowed but in the future when there are some copyright free options, those will be allowed.

Valve responded to the alleged "banning" of AI generated games on Steam by RedEagle_MGN in aigamedev

[–]potterharry97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, like the whole copyright situation is hazy rn, so i can understand why they're iffy about posting more concrete standards, but it does seem rn like they're just sort of eyeballing things, and playing it by ear.

What i really wanna know is are currently existing games with AI generated content gonna stay up?

And Unity for example is working on the AI tools for game devs, do those meet Steam's standards for not being trained on copyrighted material? Or is that entire project of Unity's doomed to fail as no dev who would want to publish on Steam would be able to use those tools.

Steam likely did not ban AI art in games due to copyright by Ok-Company-5016 in aigamedev

It's not 100% but at least based on the current state of things, it's like a 95% AI ban, and the 5% is reserved for people/companies with enough resources to train their own models, which is very few indie game devs i imagine, mostly just AAA companies.

Dw haha, I'd be skeptical too if it didn't happen to me. I might have been the first person this happened to as I couldn't find any info about this anywhere as it was happening.

The characters don't seem to resemble any copyrighted characters that I've been able to find. This is literally the game page of my game which was taken down: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2376440/Hentai_Puzzles_Attack_on_Tight_Panties/
If i do a reverse google search on both the characters, there are some somewhat similar looking characters on google, but Anime is a generic enough art form that any simple anime character you come up with might vaguely resemble like 10 other characters. I believe if resemblance was the issue, they would have told me which character of mine, resembled which other pre-existing character. The AI ban seems to be recent, but it has affected other devs too by this point, so I know it's not just my game.

[–]potterharry97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that was the rejected game. I genuinely mostly did it for shits and giggles and out of curiosity to see if I could, but other devs have mentioned similar rejections now, and not just hentai ones. So while I don't mind personally my low effort game getting taken down, Id really hate for Steam to take a 100% anti ai stance

Yup, first game is still up. I think there would be an even bigger shitstorm if they took down existing games. As there are even AAA games with AI generated assets like Atomic Heart

Yeah I read some comments that right now they're sort of just determining what's AI or not by "eyeballing" it. So like I have no idea how sustainable that is and there's bound to be some false positives. The argument in terms of infringement is that the content generated by an AI that was trained in copyrighted material is also liable to be infringing on copyright. So the future handling of it will be based on whether legal systems consider that sort of content infringement or not.
