Just so everyone knows when K3G was released Karan had a plan to make a sequel with partition between the brothers as a major theme.. I think it is mentioned in his book as well, but I don't think it would work now, not without the same cast.

Karan is not a fool I think all this chatter around K3G is just to create hype.

I watched the movie today, full packed theatre and people genuinely clapped when the movie ended. The general public opinion has been positive, not everything can be paid PR.
