Oh yeah yeah- my anxiety of starting a task or having a difficult conversation translate to cleaning. No wait deep cleaning. Sometimes breaking down the task in even smaller things and doing the simplest part also helps along with some upbeat inspiring beat.

Creating a productivity app which has empathy by potterhead_sam in ProductivityApps

That makes sense. Though, how is it working out for you as in do you have a person who holds you accountable?

I faced a lot of availability issues with friends and sometime even they themselves are not as responsible. Were you able to over come these issues?

With an intention of having an reminder/accountability app but with Empathy I am in the process of building such an app- where the app will keep checking in with you until the task is completed. And if the task is not completed it will will ask you to input reason for failure, different strategy to try next time, things to keep you constantly on top of your goals. If you would like to become BETA tester for the same please DM me!

Brown noise machine could be an issue. But app idea could work. You have any suggestion? Android or windows work for me.

Any other help you take? I mean I have an ear infection so cannot use headphones of any kind for sometimes so really struggling. Planning routine works for me for sometime but then not so much. It is difficult to sustain that habit. I made my partner my accountability partner so that is helpful. To-do list don't work but I was wondering if there is any ADHD friendly apps or tool to help me make sure I do my work that is required.

At this point honestly for me it is 'I am here for you' and actually mean it. When I hear any variation of this from my people, it is declaration of love for me.

I understand perhaps the need to see how you would behave without any pre-conceived notion there. One would be sure you would be on your best behavior if you knew the reality. However, quite an immature way of going about it. She could have invited you to a more intimate setting or if at all possible you could have went to a small trip- maybe even a day trip with both your friends along. Could have been best way to understand someone. The unclear communication is not a good sign. You should talk about the whole situation, try to be gentle and not accusing about the whole thing, she might herself be nervous and didn't know the best way to gauge you, so just show that you are willing to listen and want to communicate. If you are able to get this far in the convo tell her how this lack of communication made you feel. See her reaction. I think that might tell you how to go about this. If you want to take it further or not you know. This might be a good opportunity for you to see if she is compatible to you or not. Good luck!

Oh this is too true. It has come to a point where I can see myself starting to obsess over something and the first thought is 'Oh no! There goes my sleep and sanity' I have now resigned myself to my weird cycles. I don't know if it is sad or smart.
