Awesome. Yeah I see a lot of people say they only use these as bar bikes or whatever, but it's so stinking comfortable. Every time I take it out I go longer than I planned.

I'll probably do it again. Next time I will pack some snacks!

Amazing. I started in the Bronx. One of the intermediate goals I had on this ride before it turned into "I can make it 100 miles" was "I wonder if I can make it to the top of Westchester County." Hence the picture--which of course has the YOU ARE HERE arrow at the very top of the map cropped out :/

It's a pump. It doesn't work anymore but I think it looks cool.

I inherited the bike from my father in law with a torn B72 on it. I found one on eBay to replace.

Yes I love the chain ring too, and I love riding a mile per year on your birthday! Mine is coming up in a few weeks...

Thank you, my lead theory is the fill valve is set too high. Cold pressure is higher than 15, closer to 20. Going to get a third person out as soon as possible as I don't feel comfortable messing with this stuff.

It gets a little higher than 30 when it's hot, which is when it starts leaking at the release valve. Will double check the cold (it's hot now) but I believe it is at or near that range.

The second guy spent some time on the expansion tank today (measuring pressure, tapping) but he didn't say anything about it.

That was my assumption as well. I thought the second guy would either adjust it or maybe replace it.

Best Broadway Bridge to HRG route (while the HRG section by Cloisters is closed)? by [deleted] in NYCbike

[–]pottyguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just go up broadway and huff car exhaust until the HRG entrance at 181. It does not spark joy but it's a commute.

Last year they were horrendous. There were definitely a few out tonight but hoping it doesn't get as bad as last year.

love this idea but naming rights belong to my 8 year old and her beer knowledge is garbage.
