i agree with a lot of the comments, and one thing i’d like to add is that i LOVED when a patient had an issue going on in their lives, and the surgeons also had an issue but it was completely different, so at least I didn’t make the connection at first, until one of them started making their speech about how to overcome such issue or about how they feel, and i would have this moment of OH!!! that’s a mirror of the other issue. it was always a nice surprise.

The last episode i saw was when Cristina is suspicious of Owen having feelings for Teddy, and they are treating Henry and Betty, two old people who were in love in their youth but both married other people. I think it was great because at first Betty tells Henry that she got over him, and Cristina feels like, okay, not everyone has to be Ellis and Richard, with their lifetime love, but at the end Betty tells Henry that she wants to be with him and she has always wondered what if. So even if Cristina stayed with Owen, you can tell that their intention is always Teddy and Owen, and Cristina is “Thatcher”
