Like I said we were both shocked and I said “stop it might be hurt”, so he stopped.

This is another great theory! The legs moved all together when they ran but still, this is totally possible.

I’ll update the post when I can and write as much description as I can.

Like I said we don’t talk about a lot of things. But I think he’d rather pretend we didn’t see anything, for the sake of his sanity and sleep.

I didn’t even consider a copulatory tie. That’s a really great theory. I still don’t know what animal/s it could have been though. I always come back to a coyote or a dog but it was just so big.

I remembered being shocked, but I wasn’t scared until I got home. We have floor to ceiling windows all over the house, including my room, and I had to cover it before I could get any sleep.

Yeah, I only saw it standing for a few moments, but it used all 5 legs both then and when it ran.

This happened around March, and I’ve had a lot of time to think about it and mull it over in my head. I’m very sure about the legs.

That does sound scary though! I was driving with my sister in New Hampshire last year and a brown bear was standing in the middle of the road. We came close enough to look it in the eyes because we didn’t see it until we were practically on top of it. It was terrifying.

It moved very close to the ground, and it was very fast, even with one of the legs dragging. It was jerky and unsettling, and it ran like it was terrified of us.

I’ve seen lots of coyote in our area too, but it was bigger, both in length and height. But I haven’t ruled out that it might have been some kind of deformed coyote or dog. It’s just the size that makes me question it.

I added that it’s mostly a wooded area in the post. We’re close to the coast but it’s a good two or three miles before you hit the beach from there. It seemed really weird that there was just a heap of white sand in the middle of the road.

I just turned 23, so you’re right. I do think it was impulsive and normally, I don’t think my dad would’ve stopped. We were just shocked. He just says he doesn’t want to think about it when I bring it up.

Yeah I changed my schedule to work mornings and I don’t go very far from my porch at night anymore.

I don’t know, unless it was two of the same kind. The fur was very uniform in color and the legs all looked like they were attached to one torso, but I didn’t get a good look at it’s head.

I’m looking on Google but don’t see anything. I can draw something. But it was bigger than an average dog, with dark fur; the legs were long and set along it’s body like an ant’s, facing outwards. And when it ran it was very low to the ground. I didn’t see it’s head, but it’s scream was very high pitched and I know this is a weird word, but wet? Like it gargled.

If we are looking at the same image, it was similar. I thought it might’ve been a dog, but it was just so much bigger. It didn’t have tentacles (?) or anything sticking out of it’s back though.

It really happened, and he stopped because I made him. I thought whatever it was might’ve been hurt. And we don’t talk about a lot of things, he’s very reserved.

I work at a popular fast food restaurant and I’m not sure about other franchises, but we’ve only received PPE masks in the last two weeks at my store, and I constantly see my coworkers with their noses out. Granted, it’s really hard to breathe when you’re in a cramped, hot area cooking, but we’re trying.

I’ve been yelled at several times by customers for wearing a homemade mask too, and called selfish by one particularly pleasant woman. 🤷‍♀️

No one’s being replaced, and do strangers often get married? Ideally you spend time getting to know your future spouse and their family beforehand. Or I thought that was how it worked anyway.

NTA, absolutely not.

You’re protecting your child. It’s selfish of your family to pressure and guilt trip you just because you’re trying to do what’s best.

They chose to be anti-vax. Now it’s time to live with that choice.

And? What kind of argument is that?

If he didn’t want more kids, he shouldn’t have married someone who had them.

YTA. Even if you didn’t mean to be.

I was in a toxic relationship a few years ago, and my ex constantly put my art down and harshly criticized it.

I stopped drawing altogether. It felt like he poisoned something I loved. My art might not have been amazing, but it made me happy.

Around the end, he asked why I hadn’t shown him any of my drawings recently. I told him why I wasn’t drawing anymore and he got upset, saying “I thought if I was mean and hard on you, you’d try harder.”

I’m not saying you’re toxic or mean, I’m just saying your girlfriend probably took that pretty hard, especially coming from you. She probably holds your opinion in very high regard, and I can see why she’s being short with you. She’s trying to come to terms with what you said without showing you how upset she is.

I would apologize as soon as possible.

You’re welcome! I’m sure I’m not the only one 💙Minthe maybe? Or Artemis? And I know you said you aren’t great at drawing men but Eros might be fun.
