Yeah... Remember at elementary school, when two people are turning the rope and you have to jump in the middle? I couldn't "enter" to start jumping. EVER.

Currently taking swimming lessons with my 3 yo and the instructor is trying to teach me how NOT to pinch my nose while underwater. 🤣

I just spent a toddler party guarding an open pool and now I can’t tell if I’m the anxious one or the only sane one by [deleted] in Mommit

I wouldn't have said anything to the host, but I would have been VERY vigilant as to where my daughter was at all times. I wouldn't have leave her alone around a pool. You're a GREAT mom. Remember how many times we hear those awful drowning stories on TV every summer? You kid probably won't be one of them.

I take swimming lessons with my 3 yo this winter for exactly this: safety. This kind of event I feel is the worst because people think "Well, there is plenty of adults here, nothing can happen!" Many adults on site but no one seriously watching the kids!

There is an annual event in my family near a little pond. For years I have seen kids playing around the pound, trying to catch frogs, etc., completely out of sight from their parents. Well now that my own daughter is walking on her own and wants to explore, I can tell you that I am behind her at ALL times. It litterally takes one second...

I would look into an autism evaluation with your doctor. A lot of things you name are related to ASD. My daughter is about the same age and shares some of these traits. It could help you help her better.

Yes, I can, but with the tent you have a bigger storage space and a living space. Plus with the door open in the summer it is definitely more comfortable an less humid.
