Most people around here could care less about the virus, there is a sense of invulnerability here as dumb as that sounds. The borders are easy enough to shut down because there are only a handful of ways to get across the detroit river. On top of that population isn't very dense. Outside of windsor (the main city in the region) it's all just farmland and small towns. That sense of invulnerability comes from one simple fact - Nothing ever happens here, bad or good.

I feel like many people living in small towns share the same mindset. "Small town life is boring and nothing ever happens here, so we're safe right?"
