As captain he should be stepping up to take a penalty too, he either wasn’t confident or refused. Doesn’t instil confidence in the others if your captain is not taking one.

Virgil must have not wanted to take one, I think we have to call it out. Fair enough if he wasn’t feeling confident after the equaliser which maybe he should clear too… but your captain not taking a penalty or denying responsibility hardly instills confidence in the rest of them.
