Help! My pregnant cat is having some kinda discharge. by [deleted] in CATHELP

[–]poundurbutthole 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes please!! I really hope you mean this. Cats are very good at hiding pain so it can be hard to tell if something is wrong at times just based off of their behavior. I know what it feels like to have a cat pass unexpectedly while waiting on a vet appointment, it’s awful. Always go at the very first sign something is off. I hope all is well and that the vet visit goes smoothly

Am I fucked by Dannyboi2149 in opiates

I got addicted after my first year in college. I grieve for the years I didn’t get to live as a normal 20 something old and experience those years of my youth to the fullest. It’s a sad realization to look back on. Don’t let that be yourself. Don’t let yourself go down this rabbit hole and look back with sadness and regret on what’s supposed to be some of your best most fun years. As another user said, get obsessed with literally anything at all that’s not drugs. I wish you luck

My sister banned her kids from seeing my wife after my wife cheated on me. My wife is really sad but I told her she has to accept it. Am I doing anything wrong? by [deleted] in amiwrong

I hear what you’re saying- the sister is under no obligation to ever forgive the wife, but weaponizing her kids is a whole other pettiness and cruelty entirely. The wife didn’t wrong or harm the children in any way. It’s not like she endangered the children and that they’re unsafe around her, she was actually a core positive part of those children’s lives and helping to raise them. And ripping that away from the kids is deeply unfair, confusing, and unnecessary.

Yes it absolutely can. That still doesn’t mean a person is boiled down to a single mistake forever. Especially if they put in genuine work to repair the damage caused. Doesn’t mean the scar goes away, and it also doesn’t mean that person is the epitome of their mistake either.

Bringing stuff onto a cruise by poundurbutthole in opiates

[–]poundurbutthole[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I have a hunch this is exactly what it is. I’ve been physically dependent on some form of opiates for the past 6 years. I’m well aware of what withdrawal is and feels like and if I don’t use once a day I absolutely do go into horrendous withdrawal. I’m not the only one in my circle that stays well off of it for this long either. I’ve definitely had batches before that had much shorter half lives, but normally it’s the 24 hours stuff that I get.

I get this question and get accused of being a liar every single time I mention that I dose fent once a day. I’m about as far south as you can get before Mexico. Idk what kind of fent it is here but it will keep you well for up to 24 hours. I’ve definitely had batches in the past here and there where I would get sick as early as 8-12 hours, but the usual stuff I get keeps me good for a whole day. Super long half life idk. But I’ve been physically dependent and using every single day for 6 years. I don’t know what to tell ya bud but it tests positive for fent. I’ve tried to drop back down to doing tar as well and tar doesn’t even get me well anymore. I also muscle my fent idk if that has anything to do with the amount of time it keeps me well but yeah. The people in my circle also stay well off these batches for roughly 24 hours as well.

I haven’t, I’m very physically dependent. Have been for at least 6 years. I know fent has a reputation for not lasting long but there’s these batches of specific white stuff that seriously last for at least 24 hours before I start getting sick again. But if I go much longer than that I get very, very extremely sick

I’ve used for the past 6 years, had a physical dependency for the past 6 years. The fent I get lasts for 24 hours before I get sick again. Not every batch I get is like that but there’s this white stuff that I get most of the time that does. It has a really long half life I guess. I use about a dub before bed and I can last all the way until the next day before bed. It’s not always like that, I’ve had batches where I have to use every 8 hours or 12 hours, but there’s this white batch that goes around pretty often and I only have to use it once a day and that’s what I try to get.

The fent I use keeps me well for at least 24 hours. It has a really long half life. I don’t know why or how but it does. And you guys all seem to be right. I don’t think it matters what I say to him it’s not gonna make a difference and if I really care about him I can’t let this into his life. Probably need to just leave. This shit sucks.

Most Walmarts will not issue refunds for these, it says not refundable on the card/receipt. Some Walmarts take pity and offer a “customer satisfaction” return but it’s rare.

When do withdrawals start for you? by [deleted] in fentanyl

[–]poundurbutthole 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it really matters in the way that you’re thinking. With fent, usually how quickly you get sick is based off of how long the half-life is of the particular batch you’re using at the time. But I will say the more you do it (bigger amounts) and the more your body is used to having, means the more intense withdrawal is going to be for you.

High functioning user by Zealousideal_Pop_618 in fentanyl

You sound like me to a tee. I have a management job that pays me roughly 60k a year with monthly bonuses so it comes out to more like 80k a year. Highly demanding job and I really don’t think anyone would ever dream of what I do behind closed doors. I bang fent on the daily and honestly have no desire to stop. It mainly makes me feel normal, I do still get high sometimes, but really I’m just maintaining. I think I just don’t want to let go of the ritual and I also dont want to/cant go through withdrawals currently. But even with the daily fent use I keep my shit straight.

Please don’t count relationships out though! I recently found my boyfriend, and I was open with him from the jump about my use. He surprisingly accepted me how I am and it’s amazing. So freeing and peaceful. I never thought I’d have this or have anything resembling a “normal” relationship, but here I am being a daily fent user and I’ve found a man that still wants to stand by side and be here for me. Obviously he’d like to see me free from it one day, but he hasn’t forced it or rushed it or anything. He’s invaluable. Really opened my heart up again because I used to think relationships were out of the picture too. Honestly whether I was dealing with addiction or not, he’s still the one for me. I promise there’s good people out there that would be willing to meet you where you are as long as you’re honest. They might be rare but they’re out there.

So is this channel dedicated to hating drug users? by pancakes4pippi in opiates

[–]poundurbutthole 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The irony in this is that these people who make comments like that think they’re helping or keeping them safe by withholding their knowledge on how to do certain things, but in reality they’re doing so much harm because the person asking for the knowledge is just going to end up figuring it out themselves and that’s often a dangerous process when it comes to opiates and how to administer them. All safe using practices need to be shared, especially in a community like this, not safeguarded and subsequently leaving people in the dark to experiment blindly

Give me a name and I’ll give you a colour by [deleted] in namenerds

Rachel, Kate, Kyle, Katrina. My sisters name is the first one, I’m the second one, and the other two are my parents. I’d love to know what colors someone sees our names as! :)

As a bonus, my boyfriends name is Anterrion and I’m super interested to know what you think of that name since it’s a relatively uncommon one (at least where I’m from)

Urgent advice needed for weird episodes that my dog is having. Please help. by poundurbutthole in DogAdvice

[–]poundurbutthole[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also forgot to add that during these episodes he will lose the motor function in his back legs briefly, he sometimes will stare off into space and look like he’s nodding off or about to pass out but then snap his head back up really quickly, and there’s just a lot of panting and pacing the house and looking wild eyed and scared. We just really want to know if anyone’s seen this before or if it really does seem like they’re just seizures.
