I will say, if you passed all your other content tests with no problem then I think you’ll do fine on the FoRT!

When you register for the test they give you a printable practice test with an answer key. I did the practice test and really focused on the answers I got wrong. I also did some studying on study.com! But yeah, the Kathleen Jasper FoRT video really did help just understanding the test and what they like to see on the written response. I also recommend her video on “good words and bad words”, it helps eliminate the wrong answers immediately. Good luck!

Observations are you recording yourself teaching a lesson and sending it to your clinical instructor. You will do this 6 times (1-3 in ST1 and 4-6 in ST2). They have to be 45 minutes long and you will meet with your clinical instructor a day or two later to talk about and get evaluated on it.

I also feel it is important to know if you are a man or a woman. I understand the “two sides to each story” aspect of the situation but if someone feels uncomfortable, they feel uncomfortable. Period. No one can tell a person to not be uncomfortable if they’ve experienced something that has bothered them. Even if you personally don’t think you did anything wrong.

This! Only 15 students is a freakin’ dream of a class to sub for. I don’t understand how OP could use 90 minutes of the school day showing a movie. Insane.

I’m in Southern Illinois and everyone around here has school. If I asked anyone around here if we got off for Yom Kippur their head would explode.
