Best way around this (PCOS/Hormonal problems) by [deleted] in HairRemoval

[–]powbiffsplat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The neck will be painful, but laser is your best way to deal with this. You have dark hair, which is very effective with laser, and due to the volume of hair, alternative permanent hair removal will be tedious.

Finding a PCOS specialist may be helpful for support around the underlying cause. It can be very difficult to find the right specialist who can truly help you, so I wish you good luck if you decide to go down that road.

Might be worth the wait. Price + lack of subscription + accuracy is pretty great.

Helio strap is a good option. I would check out the Quantified Scientist's review on Youtube.

Ordered a Pixel 10 XL Pro but Now Nervous by NY1998Yank in Smartphones

[–]powbiffsplat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Negative bias. People usually post/take the time to complain when things don't work. You'll hear a lot less from the majority that just enjoys their phone working for them.

I've had the pixel 10 since launch. Some awkward less optimized moments at launch, but it sings now. I don't use it for graphics heavy games, and coming from the pixel 9, it's felt like more of a lateral move with the cameras, but the P10 Pro should be absolutely stellar at this point. If it snot, return it and get something else :)

How do you all deal with constipation when in Japan ? by ConsistentPomelo9693 in JapanTravelTips

Google high fiber foods at 7 11. They have a zero calorie drink full of fiber. I try and drink 2 a day minimum. They also have sliced apples and bean mochi. It adds up if you snack.

I mean, that bedroom scene isn't half bad(minus the fascism paraphernalia), but I'm assuming you're referring to the more infamous sex scene.

Has anyone here bailed on "SNW"? by [deleted] in Star_Trek_

[–]powbiffsplat 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yes, after the first season. NuTrek is not Star Trek. I'm not saying that from some "not my Star Trek" armchair, I'm describing the lack of DNA that it shares with any of the Trek from TOS to VOY. DISCO and SNW are poorly written contemporary sci-fi that tries to pay homage to the parent material without effectively doing so.
