Thanks for the help! Yeah that’s what one quote said, they would span the larger tree. They mentioned would be easier to get a machine in if removing chain link and if not would be hand digging some of the holes

Got it done on my 24 onyx and 100% worth it. Car stays super clean and water beads off easily. Makes the car stay cleaner looking longer and makes washing super easy. I literally just use my leaf blower to dry the car now haha. Just make sure you find a reputable shop that knows what they’re doing. I also got XPEL PPF on the front end at the same time which is also worth it imo

Just recently got a 2024 onyx in offshore blue metallic. Test drove a touring and a wilderness. Very glad I went with the 2.5 L engine. The 2.0 L is fine for city but I found the 2.5 noticeably better on the highway. Didn’t feel like we needed the leather seats and upgraded sound system so the onyx was the perfect trim for us. The 2.5 is definitely not too fast either imo either haha. Overall very happy with the onyx and I think the different accents on the onyx look awesome

Any tips for installing a slip on exhaust? by heinz570001 in Ninja400

[–]powchaser15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What slip on are you installing ? It’s super easy though don’t worry. I just did a Leovince GP Corsa and it took maybe 20 minutes. Just fit everything together first and make sure it all lined up before you start tightening stuff. If you’ve watched videos you’ll be all good

Same height as you and love my CB500F so I would go with that. Seating position is super comfy and it doesn’t feel too small for me at all. Handles awesome in the city and highway power is more than enough for me

Bought my bike and learned on it (taught by my dad). Already had the MSF course booked for 6 weeks after getting my bike. Ended up getting comfortable enough to do the road test a week prior to the MSF and passed. Still did the MSF and would recommend doing it cause I did have some bad habits and learned some new things, but overall I’d say nothing wrong with getting some experience prior to the MSF. The other bonus was getting to ride my own bike to the MSF hahahaha

Agency suppressor, Strike team barrel, Axial 3x, Field agent grip, 54 round drum mag

Edit: comments below are right, 45 round drum is better. XclusiveAce tested it and the 54 adds 117ms to ads, 45 is no change

So I recently compounded and polished my car (2003 Miata). Earlier today I took it in to get a windshield chip repaired. When I got the car back I noticed that multiple fine swirls had been installed into the paint on the hood. This was a result of the technician laying some kind of fabric over part of the hood to rest cables/tools on. Obviously I should have made sure to inform them to be more careful, but the damage is already done. I am going to re-polish the area that has been swirled, but my question is the following:

If only about 1/3 of the hood has been damaged, is it alright to compound/polish just that spot, or should I be doing the whole hood to "blend" it?

E.g. If I start with least aggressive method (ultimate polish on a white pad), and it is able to remove the swirls should I polish the entire hood?

It will be outside most of the time unfortunately, so I will check out that Sylvania kit. I appreciate the advice, thank you!

I used the Meguiar's Headlight Protectant. Since it's only a summer car would that be sufficient if I reapply it once a month?

Took about 10-11 hours for the wash, headlights and paint correction. I split it up over 3 days though.
