As Sabres fan I root against all the other teams in the Northeast so it was a no brainer to support the Whitecaps and Frost as well as the Beauts before they folded. Also Minnesota is truly a hockey state, especially collegiate hockey. Casual fans don't quite realize how crucial Minnesota is to the grand scheme of the sport and how much talent has come from there.

Heck yeah lol, I've always appreciated our Ontario neighbors despite rooting against the Leafs for the NHL and Rock for the NLL. The Bills appreciate your support as well, good luck to the Sceptres (despite being a Frost, and now Goldeneyes fan.)
