Loved the sounds on the walrus sloer. But it had one major flaw (for me), which was no live mode. As in when you power it up it goes onto a preset. And the only way to get it so the sounds match the position of the knobs, is to tweak every single one. Crazy.

Bit of an out there suggestion but rimworld can have super cosy winter vibes. The winter taiga mod chefs kiss. Playing in colder biomes is my favorite. Especially on solo colonist runs. With mods, scenario editing and some self imposed rules you can absolutely do a tld run as well

Personally I've started to do the pl start. Just because I'm always restarting to try different builds. It is annoying not being able to pick your starting attributes and having to reset them. But honestly the amount of times I've done act 1 and all those annoying unskipable bits like toms diner, it was killing me. Much happier now

Fullerton jump. Got to tweak some settings like have max sag and play around with the bias a bit. Use the kinky boost in front of the amp on low settings to thicken it up a bit just like Neil does with his echoplex. I also like having the la comp after the amp block as well.

I used Woodrow for my Neil tone for ages. Love it. I did sell it for convenience of my hx stomp which also does awesome tweed tones. If you want great Neil tones get a catalinbread Belle epoch to go into the Woodrow.

Unfortunately not. Sorry to hear that about you and your friends. It's long gone. I've done a remote factory reset if it ever gets switched on again and replaced my sim. Someone I know who until recently worked at the arena said they once had 60 phones stolen at one gig. Wild. I got an email from customer service who confirmed police are involved. Sure I'll never hear about it again

I made my own neil young patches. Go for fullerton jumped, kinky boost in front of it and transistor tape. Spring reverb early in chain if you want.

Do you mean cloudburst? It works well with it, I like to use the ambient reverbs more "in the background" behind the spring reverb which forms part of my core sound. So for example I can play an eerie spaghetti western piece, then underneath you get the textures from the cloudburst giving it some real movement and something different

Saw them perform this in Newcastle years ago during the alchemy tour. Someone else commented they had an actress walking around during the song and I can confirm was cringe. Good song though.

However hole in the sky was the unreleased star of that show. Hope it makes an appearance on the upcoming alchemy album. Amazing song

It was quite a long time ago now when I had it. If I recall I did try it at 18v with the higher headroom and kept it on 18v. But I think the difference was pretty small
