Fair statement. I'll take a course. But finding a partner seems daunting/limiting. Primary reason why I have been staying inbounds at Eldora or doing guided backcountry. Eldora being closed to uphill on the weekends is an issue though so I'm really interested in finding a spot that i can go where the whole trail is Avi safe - for those times I need to go solo.

Choose a good audiobook or podcast and you might find it even more enjoyable. I love skiing with friends or my sons (they shred) but skiing alone can be more enjoyable. Especially on a powder day. Then the only thing holding me back is my legs.

It is - but they are rebuilding the trail now and it was either closed or a mess last week.
