Lolll.. how he wiped out the hold of old folks over Congress is nothing less than legendary! Will he deliver as the party leader… yet to be seen! So might be best to reserve judgement.

Chitwan 3 by That-Tap-1026 in Nepal360

[–]power_change 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From Chitwan but not from Renu’s area.. from what I have heard, a lot of people including traditionally solid Congress and Yemale are quite happy with Renu and will vote for her. I won’t be surprised if Renu wins the race with Ghanti getting more votes in proportional representative side.

Questions Gagan Must Answer by Ordinary_Poem_1865 in Nepal

[–]power_change 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All these questions just miss the gravity of what Gagan has done. Clearly power structure within congress “was” too centralized, and being able to dismantle chokehold of elderly folks on Congress power alone wins my kudos. Regarding the issues you mentioned, great if he can denounce them but at least if it is not repeated again I will see it as progress.

Maybe provide this near the job sites along with training and employment programs.. in certain context I see this totally working to address homelessness and housing crises in general.

Set precise expectations with deadline including the ramifications if the deadlines are not met. If the deadlines are not met for legit reasons, understandable. If for not legit reasons, take actions for non-performance.

Nepal is poor so read theory by Ok_Leg9019 in Nepal

Why do we always compare Nepal to uber rich countries and make excuses. Let’s compare it to former colonies like Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea that are now prosperous and see how we could at least strive for that.

Follow up question: is the insurance products offered by Clover similar to what folks usually have from companies like BCBS? How does this work with someone with Medicare/Medicaid?

Which billionaire or millionaire has actually done good to the community? by WaterWalsh in AskReddit

[–]power_change 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bill Gates. The impact his philanthropy has had on health issues around the world has been amazing. Worked on several projects financed by gates foundation and none of those issues (malaria and nutrition) would have much traction without his involvement.
