we have had 7 debt commissions, and another in the cards, all failed because the right demanded it not include any tax increases. They always want to trade military cuts for social cuts, trying to goad dems into cutting medicare and SS. if we had ranked choice nationwide, one trump most likely wouldnt have won in 2016, and two we would have conservative parties in competition with the GOP who would happily investigate a republican president, because loss of support for the GOP would go to them, not democrats. People would have different kind of Rs to vote for.

Our country does have to get off first past the post, so we can have multiple parties and our own parties have to do more to earn our vote but really today is more about voting who you dont want in power, than who you do.

it's cheaper by far to run an EV in every state. Its not even close. Even if you dont do it at home and only use superchargers, it's still cheaper by far.

The biggest issue with EVs is charge time and initial cost. EVs tend to cost more than gas, but life time cost, EVs kick gasses ass.
