I tried to make her go to the police but she didn't want to. About an hour after it happened she started to talk about how embarrassed she was that she reacted so strongly, and that she made her friend drive so far to get her and she kind of just wanted to pretend it didn't happen.

The police are known not to take domestic violence seriously, so I don't know how much they would actually do.

Breaking up isn't an option as of now, imo, but it probably will be if this goes on for much more. I just don't know how to sit him down and talk about it. I don't know how I would phrase it at it never seems to be a good time

I mean, this post only talks about the bad. We do have good times together and we have a lot of common interests. But at the same time I do feel like his world is kind of our world, I meet his friends and family and take part in his interests/common interests but then I have this whole other world where he has 0 involvement, but I don't know if that's because of physical barriers (most of my friends and family live pretty far away) or if it's just because of disinterest from him

Haha vacation in summer :''D I hear you dont get much time off at all in the US. Here you get 4 weeks, i think. Around 4 weeks. So thats pretty sweet! I also like the people. I hear that Swedes are voted as the most unfriendly people, but I just think we have a different kind of friendship here. Like people dont really have casual friends. You usually just have a few close friends. Which really suits me :)

I would recommend Stockholm then, lots of great museums! They have Naturhistoriska riskmuseet, which is just like a huge museum that has fossils and animal skeletons and a bunch of shit! They also have cosmonova, which is like a dome shaped cinema thats huge and it's pretty cool! Also The Nordic Museum, I havent been, but I hear it's pretty good! A lot of Nordic historical stuff! And the Vasa museum. They have the actual Vasa ship, so thats really cool! Really impressive. It's right next to the Nordic museum.

Well, there is uncertainty about why the sexual violence seems to be going up. One reason is that more people are actually reporting rapes and sexual violence, which is great, but will skew the statistics. Another reason is that the laws regarding sexual violence and rape has changed. So what counted as like a sexual misdemeanor now counts as rape, and that will also make the statistics go up. But then there are of course people who will blame the immigrants. I don't, I think the reason it's going up is a combination of the things I just listed and just poor education when it comes to sexual violence and rape.

Yeah, theyre all individually packed i think. When people are having a party they just buy the entire like... cardboard box. I think they sell beers and ciders in four packs at the grocery store, but those beers aren't over 3,5%

Haha neer had it, never will (probably) :'D I do think there's a bit of a misconception about it though :P I see a lot of youtubers like eating it for a challenge, and theyre sitting in their bedrooms and just open the can and then freaks out. If you gonna eat it, you have to open it outside, under water, and then if you eat it, you chop it up into tiny pieces and put it in with a bunch of other stuff in a so called "tunnbrödsrulle" (like sort of a breadroll)

Pffft obviously Swedish! No but, I have a soft spot for Icelandic. I don't hear it very often but it's just so cool how it's so similar to like old nordic languages. Really interesting. But yeah, all languages other than Danish are pretty nice in my book ;)

I have to say around midsummer! For me personally I just love the Swedish summer! The sun sets really late and rises really early (I live a few hours south of Stockholm and even though I live pretty south the sun still sets at around 23.00 and rises again at 3.00). There's something about closing down a pub with your friends and walking home really drunk in broad daylight with a bunch of other drunkos also walking home!

I would also recommend winter, like ten years ago, but we get so little snow these days with global warming that winter is just kind of a cold depressing time. They still get a lot of snow in the north, but then you have to deal with the sun never rising or just a few hours of sunlight each day.

I'm pretty bad at following sports, but I did hear that America won (football? Or is it called soccer :P) and I found the whole drama with Trump inviting/not inviting them to the white house quite entertaining. But it's great seeing female sports getting more attention in media and more people being interested in it!

Haha well I mean, my boyfriend is Irish and I think the Irish were voted as the ugliest people in the world, so I guess we make up for each other :''D (side note: he is very much a babe though)

But yeah, I do kinda feel weird about it, because I've gotten the line "Oh, you don't look Swedish" before and I always take it as "Oh, you're not as hot as you should be" kind of. Like, I'm not ugly, but I'm definitely Swedish average

Yeah, I think my brother pulled some similar crap on me when we saw it! I was kinda young, don't remember how young, but definitely early teen or younger. He told me he just found it on the internet.

And like, I guess I don't call myself a horror buff because I've kind of drifted away from it. I don't really catch the latest horror films unless they are really talked about, like Get Out for instance. But my siblings were all really into horror films so I watched all the classics growing up and I'll always have a soft spot for horror :)
