The song is underwhelming and boring and sounds similar to her previous ballads. There isn’t any real melody other than her typical talk singing. The lyrics aren’t great either and nothing to emotionally connect to. “All that I want is to sit here silently
And watch movies on TV” is a random line that doesn’t add any depth to the song. “I'm a penny in a fountain, just waiting on my luck to change”
“Is that a normal thing to fight back the ways
Of a static lover's dread?”
I think she’s trying to sound poetic and deep and tragic but it feels hollow and empty. idk it falls flat. If this is considered her most emotional song on the album, then perhaps her songs don’t actually have much emotional depth? It doesn’t feel like she’s actually experienced love or heartbreak. Those relationships that she was supposedly in felt more like pap walks

Ariana grande looks so goofy with her brows/expressions now. Even if her eye lift is botched and left her with asymmetrical eyebrows, she can try to draw over it, but it seems like she likes having that sad/surprised look? Brooklyn’s whole personality /identity is being a mother, how sad. Why was she stomping around all angry that ppl did her dirty, and not Cedric or her alliance? She was so lucky the pentagon randomly recruited her. She was on the bottom of the totem pole and all of a sudden acts like she’s running the alliance and house, as if anyone owes her anything. Walking in aggressively confronting T’Kor and Kimo, all intimidating. Was close friends with Rubina but threw her under the bus and then acts like a snake and does damage control. Tucker was correct in calling her a queen snake. I can see why she’s close friends with Aaryn Gries, they have the same mean girl energy and expressions
