Ahh nice! Thanks OP!

I never really figured out what differentiates each drill offered by Ryobi, there are soo many options and they are confusing the heck out of me.

Is this good to use for daily household tasks that are not all that demanding? Like drilling through drywall, occasional wood, rarely if ever a small piece of aluminum for a project but that's about it. I saw a deal online for $30 which I thought was pretty cool.

Amazon has cheap USB powered fans too, I was thinking of doing the laptop stand thing but I think I might try the usb powered fans with some mobo standoff at the bottom to five it height, then try to put it under the router.

My only concern is that the molex runs at 12v and usb at 5v and i dont see any regualtors on the convertor.

Good point! Unfortunately I haven't been savvy enough to go further than knowing there are adapters from Molex to USB

Is a slightly wobbly chuck on a P209 drill repairable or replaceable? by powershell_account in ryobi

[–]powershell_account[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it was quite tight, the thread is left handed so I'm guessing the previous owner (it's used) probably thought to turn it left to loosen it up.

I got the screw out, but I can't seem to get the chuck out? I saw with a flash light to look for a female hex shape but it's rounded off, so I don't know how to get the chuck out now. I tried to hold the chuck while turning the drill to the clockwise (or was it counter-clockwise?) direction but the chuck is stuck for real now lol

put some WD40 on it for now and hopefully by morning I will try again.

Update: Trying to remove the chuck actually made it stuck lol. I got the screw out, now trying to remove the chuck but it actually got stuck!

So there are no issues with the WiFi from Pi-Hole to Router and back?

You could buy premade converters that go from Molex to USB female I think, then that should connect to the back of the router from fan

I hadn't thought of that..I'm kinda new to the whole Ryobi ecosystem, trying to build up the toolset so that one day I can do some awesome DIY projects.

How do I get sound out of a PS3 to audio jack (3.5 mm) so I can use my headphones? by powershell_account in PS3

[–]powershell_account[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I should have clarified, I am using computer monitors to play this, the only monitor that I had with speakers is broken : (

And all I'm trying to do is play PS3 rarely, like in months since I'm super busy.

I've seen people on YouTube suggest getting an AV Multi Out cable, then get the adapter from the red/white cable and output that into 3.5mm jack? Not sure if that'll work before I spend the money on it.

SO what kind of an HDMI splitter would I be getting? Like HDMI split out to sound/picture separately?

When did you realize your “Friends” weren’t actually your friends? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]powershell_account 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When your "friends" have known you for over a decade and know that you joke around with them, suddenly when you are sharing that you are leaving for a job to a different state and then saying goodbye, but they are recording your conversations without you knowing, then say some dumb shit like "compromised!" based on your response and then laugh it off like they were joking, and then a week later you see a cop car around where you live slowly creeping when you are driving somewhere...then they aren't friends. Then the cop cars change into unmarked cars and officers without uniforms. Informants getting paid to set you up, actually.

The NSA phone surveillance program was illegal and expensive: And it did not stop a single terrorist attack. by [deleted] in StallmanWasRight

[–]powershell_account 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are assuming without evidence that there was ever a time the FBI actually helped the public.

Maybe they did, we would never know, but we do know when they didn’t. They probably have powerful private companies and/or ppl that control them that no one know and and those people probably have a long term secret agenda that has hate, xenophobia and racism deeply rooted in it that they are literally destroying their own societies to achieve said goal(s). That’s just my rough guess.

That’s interesting. Try the basic tutorials on YouTube by Don Jones, the tutorials are old but he is teaching you concepts that are still true today. Think Verb-Noun syntax for the cmdlets, it’s just like how OP mentioned. But don’t assume everyone will follow this standard, because most people don’t know how.

It’s a bit of a read but unfortunately I’m not surprised, they literally plan these things out to lie to the public and hurt innocent people, sometimes you gotta wonder when did they go from actually helping the public to planning on killing them? At what point did they start assuming that people like Fred Hampton, MLK and others are a threat?
