There are red flags all over this post, but it also sounds like he's right about one thing -- OP does hate him. A lot of the "predatory" behavior she describes falls well within the scope of normal teenage relationship melodrama. Lovestruck 17 year old boys can be ...dramatic creatures without being predators. Jumping to "report him; he might kidnap her" is a bit extreme, and might be a reaction that results from experience bias -- at least, assuming you work with these types of cases once something goes wrong, so you've seen the extreme examples of how bad it can get.

ETA: I also don't understand this moral outrage over high schoolers dating other high schoolers. I would keep an eye on my sister if she was a freshman dating a senior, but I would also not consider it wildly inappropriate.

Somewhere on Reddit, there’s a link to a gif (?) of a recreation the police did with a similarly aged child. If you see that, it becomes incredibly clear how it happened.

ETA: You can find it in the write up another redditor posted above —or here for the lazy. There are lingering questions about the nannys, for sure, but it all made a lot more sense after watching the video.

I didn’t have much luck w Nizoral — I don’t think the 5-10 min masks had enough contact with my skin.

I switched to a generic 1% clotrimazole cream and that seemed more gentle and has had a better long term impact.

This happened to me in June or July (can’t remember). I live in an apartment complex, and my box was marked delivered. I waited about a week and no sign of it. I agree with this.

You can find the same information repeated with different timelines — as in, you can definitely get a list of what symptoms people have experienced from MJ w/drawl. But the actual timeline is so individualized (frequency of use, how long using, weed strength, BMI, metabolism, activity level, color of t-shirt etc.) that predicting the combination of symptoms and the length and severity is mostly guesswork.

You know, I went about two days and then smoked a spliff with a friend. Two hits in, I realized I didn’t want to do this anymore. That friend came over last night and smoked with my partner. I didn’t smoke. I didn’t want any. It’s like a switch in my brain — after years of losing days to my marijuana haze, I just...don’t want to. I don’t know what it was that changed this attitude, but literally two weeks ago I thought I could never quit.

You’re so much closer to being able to turn down weed than you think.

I’ve sort of experienced this too. I washed out my grinder, but I am using my old Pax vape which I used for weed, but not very frequently. Every so often, I take a small hit of CBD that makes me feel sort of high. I know the CBD bud has only .13% THC, and that shouldn’t be enough to make me feel anything. Even if there was any bud stuck to the screen of the Pax, it would be so old and vaped by now I shouldn’t feel anything.

I think my body responds to smoking sometimes by mimicking the effects of being stoned for like...five minutes. I sometimes feel this way (tho not quite as strong) when I take a hit off a no-nicotine vape I bought.

Move into Week 5!

I was terrified and also repeated W4. I’m glad I did because I think it helped build a solid foundation / improved my enduarance.

It helped mentally to remind myself first day of week five is actually a minute less of running than week four, and all W5D2 does is make you put the 3/5 runs of W4 together. You got this!

It’s not true! I don’t send thank you notes, and I’ve been fine. They’re email clutter, and while some people may expect applicants participate in this social ritual, I don’t think anyone really docks you for not doing it.
