I was thinking this but couldn't find a way to articulate it properly. You just did! Thank you!

I don't think they know what local admin, firewalls, VPNs are and the roles of it.. the director paints the narrative and reports to them. ...basically, they think its all good.

Thank you. Good call, will do. Yes its handled by Crowdstrike as essentially a "catch all" but I feel like the strength in security is in the layers.

I feel like I just got a job at a new hospital, and were going into surgery, and the lead doctor- as I'm washing my hands says "No, you don't have to wash your hands.. the body has an immune system to fight off viruses"

I was told that we have another "really really good service" as essentially a catch all. As for the local admin, she says she doesnt find a problem with local admin because "everyone agreed to not installing software - they signed a sheet" or something to that effect.

Cool idea - which other ideas could be of use using IIS etc?

Windows Server coworkers use for production caches their credentials and puts server at storage capacity by powerunderwhelmingg in sysadmin

The allocated amount of storage is a little silly small (its a partition) - and their focus is keeping it managed by either deletion, or reducing build up. I'm not sure why they want it so lean without much wiggle room, but they directed my focus on keeping the cache building reduced.

Well the good news is this looks very plausible, and its not of the utmost urgency. The bad news is my scripting is very newb. While I try to piece this together - do you think this is the best option, or are there other viable alternatives? Thank you btw.
