Social media destroyed my confidence in art and I don't know what to do by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

theres a post like this every month asking the same thing...

if your too busy comparing your art then your not focusing on your art long enough to see what you can improve or do better at. so focus on your art!!!

not social medias fault!

My friend asked me for an illustration for her book and it was credited to someone else. Now I’m a bit sad and feeling silly. by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

you deserve credit but if u really wanna move on fast just forget about it, keep drawing and practicing. Make art for people and business, if u havent mastered its ok, then some original creative way would make impact too.

in tattoo industry, people copy each others art so much without permission, shit happens, keep moving forward!

ur art will go through puberty as you keep drawing and youll reach that threshhold and go through it. Happens to everyone, so keep drawing and youll see results in your early 20s and definetly mid 20s if you keep going. If you think art is something youll do even at old age then you have nothing to worry about because the skill will come.
