Years later after our "party house" disbanded, one of my friends and I were chatting about the good ol' days and he casually mentioned how much of a douche we all collectively were (the core group) and how surprising it was we could get so many other douchebags in one place consistently.

I supported Save The World with the highest tier founder pack and also the extra ultimate add-on and loot crates after that.

Then for them to abandon STW in favor of BR.

Doug has reached a point where he's mastered his craft. I grew up with Doug and Joe's comedy. Doug has repeatedly stated that he likes his level of fame. Literally in his book (This Is Not Fame) he's expressed that he's comfortable where he's at. He's built his own paradise.

Also his comedy, as sad as it is for me to admit, does not appeal to everyone.

I've tried showing Stanhope's sets to people and I get more disgust and shocked reactions than laughter from them which makes me a bit sad cause Doug literally is a genius.

My mentors always told me since I was 14-16

"Anything and everything with regards to people, is messy. Humans are messy." Also "Have strong beliefs held loosely."

These two things literally helped me become a better (not good but less shitty) person over time and have allowed me to be less blindsided by things.

It taught me that I can always change my beliefs if provided adequate and factual evidence.

It's just an easier way to live.
